How to Upgrade Your Kitchen with Hardware
Kitchens are a sub-focal point to a home and you may be wondering how to upgrade your kitchen. Updating your kitchen hardware is a great way to give your kitchen a fresh look without having to do a full remodel.
New hardware can bring a modern touch to the kitchen. It can also help bring out the design elements you want to showcase. Changing your kitchen hardware is also a relatively inexpensive way to quickly transform the look and feel of your kitchen, making it a great option for those who are looking to spruce up their kitchen on a budget.
I wanted to upgrade my builder grade kitchen and automatically fell in love with Amerock Hardware.
It was tough to choose. After narrowing it down to these three choices, I finally chose this beautiful London Black & Gold Hardware.
How to Install the Hardware
This hardware was extremely easy to install. Each cabinet pull was carefully packaged and came with two sizes of screws for installation. It was easily replaced with a screwdriver/drill. For 27 cabinet pulls it took me about 40 min to install. Super quick and easy. My 2 year old toddler even helped.
All you need to do is take a tape measurer and measure from one screw to the other screw on the back of the hardware. This distance between the two screws is the size hardware you need to purchase. After purchasing, just unscrew the previous hardware and screw in the new one. It’s as simple as that.

I may end up going back and adding some hardware to my IKEA Built In Bookcase doors since it made such a difference!
Thanks again to Amerock Hardware for partnering with me on this fabulous kitchen upgrade.
